Prior to co-founding Marlin Spring, Mr. Bakst was Executive Vice President of Lanterra Developments for ten years. He helped build Lanterra into one of the largest real estate development firms in the Greater Toronto Area.

With a strong focus on the construction of high-rise development projects, Mr. Bakst was also involved in leading Lanterra’s property management and finance divisions. Upon Lanterra’s assumption of H&R Development’s residential construction high-rise division in 2010, Mr. Bakst assumed the lead role of Lanterra’s high-rise construction division. Mr. Bakst received his CPA designation in the state of New Jersey in 2005.
