In November 2022, a diverse delegation from North America, the UK and Israel will come together to embark on a five-day journey to Ethiopia.
Travelling alongside Ethiopian Jewish educators, we will reconnect with the rich history of the community, connect to the historic walk and struggles of the 1980s and ‘90s to arrive in Israel, and learn of the situation of those still awaiting the opportunity to reunite with family in Israel and to fulfill their dream of returning to Jerusalem.
In partnership with The Morris and Rosalind Goodman Family Foundation, Tel Aviv University and Hebrew University will ensure that all Israelis of Ethiopian origin, with ambition and intellectual capacity, have the financial resources needed to fulfill their academic dreams through this project. Our aim is to provide a full financial package including tuition, living expenses, and tutorial and coaching when needed.
