In November 2022, a delegation from North America, the UK, and Israel embarked on a five-day journey to Ethiopia. Travelling alongside Ethiopian Jewish educators, participants reconnected with the rich history of the Ethiopian Jewish community, connecting to the community’s historic walk and struggles throughout the 1980s and ‘90s on their journey to reach Israel.
Furthermore, at a joint event at Tel Aviv University, the delegation learned about the circumstances of those Ethiopians still awaiting their opportunity to reunite with their families in Israel and finally fulfill their dream of returning to Jerusalem.
In partnership with The Morris and Rosalind Goodman Family Foundation, Tel Aviv University and Hebrew University began a campaign to ensure that all Israelis of Ethiopian origin with ambition and intellectual capacity have the financial resources needed to fulfill their academic dreams of higher education.
The project aims to provide a full financial support to students including tuition, living expenses, tutorial and coaching when needed.
Donate now to make these students’ dreams a reality.
