Sharon J. Fraenkel is the Chief Executive Director of Canadian Friends of Tel Aviv University for Ottawa, Quebec and Atlantic Provinces. He is headquartered at the Montreal office.

An effective leader with international experience at an executive level in hospitality, events, financial resource development and volunteer management, Sharon is a strong communicator who leads by encouraging through enthusiasm, instilling confidence and trust. He seeks input and values diversity of perspectives. His exceptional networking aptitude earned him a reputation of integrity and a proven track record for building and maintaining positive relationships.

Sharon joined Concordia University in 2005, where he remained for nearly a decade with the university’s friend- and fundraising arm.  Promoted twice during his tenure, culminating to the position of Director, Alumni Relations, Events and Sponsorships, he acted as the official liaison with the Office of the President, Senior Administrators, the Board of Governors and different Concordia Student Unions on related matters, and thus was fortunate to work collaboratively with and among many talented and diverse individuals; professionals, academics, students and volunteers alike.
