A graduate of the University of Waterloo, (B.A. Economics, 1979) Jeff has worked in the financial industry for over 30 years, beginning as a Foreign Exchange and Money Market Trader for a variety of major international banks. In 1986, Jeff became a Financial Advisor with a major Canadian investment brokerage firm. Over the past 26 years Jeff has successfully completed many securities industry examinations leading to his current designations as a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute and Canadian Investment Manager. As well, Jeff has been an instructor for the Intelligent Investing series of seminars for the Investor Learning Centre from 1997 until 2001. The Investor Learning Centre was a not-for-profit, public educational organization sponsored by the Canadian Securities Institute. In 1998, Jeff became on of five Ontario semi-finalists for the coveted I.D.A. Distinction Award sponsored by the Investment Dealers Association of Canada, now known as IIROC.

Jeff is married to Annalee and they have three grown children (Eric 27, Elizabeth 25 and Stephanie 23). Jeff is very involved in the Jewish community and currently is Treasurer, Harold Green Jewish Theatre and Past Board Chair, BBYO Toronto.
