Professor Gozes is a world-renowned researcher who has discovered convergence among autism, schizophrenia, stress-related ailments, and Alzheimer’s disease with ADNP (activity dependent neuroprotective protein), a protein essential for brain function which was discovered in the Gozes laboratory, playing a pivotal role in all these diseases. Her laboratory strives to pave the way to novel diagnostics and treatments toward healthy development, maturation, and aging of the brain.
