What They Left Behind – The Untold Stories of Jews from Arab Lands

Tel Aviv University ‘s Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies and Sephardi Voices launched a strategic partnership in Montreal on October 10, 2017!

Over 200 guests gathered for an incredible and emotional event at the Spanish and Portuguese Synagogue in Montreal, October 10, 2017, hosted by Canadian Friends of Tel Aviv University.

The event featured Professor Uzi Rabi, Director of the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies, at Tel Aviv University, who presented a timely and interesting perspective on the Middle East and Jews from Arab lands.

This collaboration enabled the ongoing international recording and preserving the legacy of Jews from Arab Lands, returning it to its rightful place in Jewish history and Israeli society. We hope you truly enjoyed this important evening of conversation and insight featuring Uzi Rabi, Director of the MDC at Tel Aviv University who presented a timely and interesting perspective on the Middle East and Jews from Arab lands
